Raja Chakradhar Singh was a great patron
of Indian arts. His contribution has been important in the
development of the classical form of Kathak. He was the
ruler of Princely state of Raigarh from 1924 till his death
in 1947. Raja Chakradhar Singh composed many musical
texts based on which ‘Raag-Ratna’ is an important book.
Other texts include Alkapuri Tilasmi, Bairagadiya
Rajkumar, Joshe Pharhad, Kavya Kanan, Mayachakra.
