Soyabean is a major Kharif crop in M.P.,
which is cultivated in an area of 61.94 lakh hectares. It is
the highest yeilding crop of M.P. It is a major oilseed
crop which is cultivated in central and southern areas Of
M.P. is also known as the Soya State, as it alone
produces 51.3% of total production of the crop in India
The maximum production of soyabean in M.P. is done in
Malwa region. Ujjain dist. has the highest production Of
soyabean in M.P.
