The Aravalli Mountain is older than
the Himalayas. Aravalli is not only the oldest mountain
range of India but also one of the oldest mountain
range of the world. Aravalli Mountain Range is
situated in Raj asthan and some part of this mountain
range is extended to north-west side of Malwa
Plateau adjoining Vindhya. The highest peak of
Aravalli Mountain Range is Guru Shikhar (Mt. Abu,
Rajasthan).
