Ganga-Yamuna drainage system is
the largest drainage system of M.P. It is spread in
the middle of the state, north and north-eastern part.
3 sub-drainage system of Ganga-Yamuna drainage
system are-
(1) Yamuna Sub-System
(2) Tons Sub-System
(3) Son Sub-System
Note : The rivers Chambal, Ken, Betwa, Tons, Son,
Sindh etc flow under the Ganga-Yamuna drainage
system in M.P. and its total run off area is 2,02,020
sq.km.
