Special Courts have been setup at
district level for special act e.g. SC/ST(Prevention
of Atrocities) Act, Anti-corruption act. Special
Courts work under additional district and session
judges are separately appointed for them.
special courts under Sec. 14 of Schedule Caste and
Schedule Tribe Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989 has
been provided in each district to protect the schedule
caste and schedule tribes from social expoitation, tortures
and atrocities. There is also a provision under Section 15
to appoint an experienced Public Prosecuter for speedy
handling of such cases.
