A finance minister is a government official who is responsible for managing the government’s financial affairs and budget. This includes setting financial
policies, overseeing the collection and expenditure of government funds, and working with other government agencies to develop and implement fiscal policies. The
finance minister may also be responsible for regulating financial institutions, overseeing the issuance of government debt, and negotiating financial agreements
with other countries or international organizations. In some countries, the finance minister may also have responsibility for certain areas of economic policy,
such as trade, labor, or agriculture.
