“Deendayal Antyodaya Upchaar Yojana”
was started on 25th Sep., 2004 to support BPL families of
scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. Under this
scheme, Rs. 20, 000 will be paid to a family in a financial
year for the medical treatment. Family health cards are
also issued and maintained.
