The governor has been given some
special powers;
I. If the ruling government does not have a majority
in the state, then the governor can dismiss the council
of ministers.
2. If the state assembly is not functioning according
to the constitution, then the governor can dissolve
the state assembly.
3. If anything is disputed in a bill, he can reserve the
bill for the President’s approval.
