The Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Smriti
National Journalism award was instituted in the year 2007
by the M.P. Govt. to create an encouraging environment
for excellent journalism in the state and to honour leading
journalists working in this field. Under this award, a cash
prize of Rs. 2 lakh is given.
