Hari Shankar Parsai was born on 22nd Aug.,
1924 at Jamani village in Hoshangabad district. He started
a weekly magazine named ‘Vasudha’, also worked as an
editor for ‘Prahari’. He died on 10th August, 1995. Parsai ji
was honoured with many awards such as Padma Shree,
Sahitya Academy Award, Shikhar Samman of M.P., Sharad
Joshi Award of M.P., Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi Award of
M.P., Literary Council etc.
