Vindhyanchal Mountain Range :
It extends to Kaimur range. It adjoins Aravalli in the
west. It acts as a divider between Narmada and
Ganga Basin.
Vindhyanchal Mountain Range is extended
to Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani, Indore, Khargone,
Khandwa, Dewas, Harda, Sehore, Hoshangabad,
Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Damoh, Katni, Chhatarpur,
Panna, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi, Umaria and Singrauli
dists. of M.P.
Bhander Series : It extends to Chhatarpur, Damoh
and Panna dists. of M.P.
Kaimur Series : It is situated in the eastern part of
Vindhyachal Mountain Range. Starting from Katni
(Jabalpur District) it passes through Satna, Sidhi,
Singrauli and extend upto Jharkhand.
