Pench river originates from southern
part of Satpura mountain range in Chhindwara dist.
of M.P. and flowing through National Park Seoni
merges with Kanhan River near Nagpur (Mah).
Note : Pench River originated from Junnarev Hill
(Chhindwara). It confluences with Wainganga River
in Kamathi, Nagpur (Mah.). Pench River is the
source of drinking water for Nagpur City. The total
length of Pench River is 274 km. (206 km. in M.P.).
The Pench River forms the natural boundary of M.P.
and Maharashtra. It bisects the Pench National Park.
