Narmada-Son Valley is the central and most
steep part of M.P. 300 m deep Narmada-Son Valley is a
descenous and narrow long valley and extend from west
to north-east. It was formed in the Tertiary Era. Jabalpur,
Hoshangabad, Raisen, Khandwa, Narsingpur etc come
under it.
