Kanha River originated from
Ralamandal (Indore). The ancient name of Kanha
River is Akshata or Khyaata. Its mouth is the River
Kshipra in Ujjain. Triveni Ghat is the holy place
(Ujjain) at the mouth of Kanha and Kshipra. Saraswati
River is the tributary of Kanha River which originated
from Rau (Indore). Kanha and Saraswati Rivers are
the part of Ganga Action Plan.
