Handia, a major religious site is
considered to be the navel site of Narmada. It is
located on the banks of River Narmada, 20 kms.
from Harda dist. of M.P. Here, Riddhinath Temple
is situated on the banks of river Narmada. On the
other bank of Handia, a famous pilgrimage site
‘Nemawar’, under Dewas dist. is called the Navel
kund of Narmada River. The ancient temple of
Siddheshwar Mahadev is situated on the banks of
the Narmada river at Nemawar.
