How does the periderm formation take place in the dicot stems? What are its components?

Cork cambium develops in cortex and cuts off cells on
both outer and inner sides of stem. The outer cells
differentiate into cork or phellem and inner cells form
the secondary cortex or phelloderm. The various
components of periderm are phellogen, phellem and
phelloderm.
