Gangaur folk dance is a religious folk dance
of Nimar. Women make the statue of Gangaur Devi
(Asymbol of Goddess Parvati) in the month Of Chaitra
and dance together on the beats of Clapping and Plate.
There are two forms of Gangaur: (1) Thalariya (2) Thola.
Shri Hiralal sad, Prabhakar Dubey and Sadhna
Upadhayaya are well known artists Of this dance.
