These forests grow in the areas under
average rainfall between 100 to 150 cm. Major and
Minor both forest produce are provided by these
forests. It includes mainly Teak, Saal, Bamboo and
some quantity of Beeja, Dhora, Kasai, Tinsa, Jamun,
Mahua, Seza, Harra etc.These forests are found in
Mandla, Balaghat, Sidhi, Shahdol, Dindori, Umaria
and Anuppur districts.
