District Court is established under Article
233 of Indian Constitution. District and Session Court is
the chief court in each district. This court is presided by
district and session judge. There is additional district and
session judge also. The decision given by the District
Court can be Challenged in the respective High Courts
Constituional provisions related to District Court-
• Article 233: Appointment of district judges.
• Article 233A : Validation of appointments of district
judges and their judgments, Notwithstanding any
judgment, decree or order of any court.
• Article 232 Recruitment of persons other than
district judges to the judicial service.
• Article 235 : Control over Subordinate courts
