Ayodhya Basti Yojana was launched from
Pampapur on 4th Oct., 2004. This scheme was launched
to ensure all-round development in the slum areas. This
scheme aims to provide better education, sanitation,
health, drinking water and irrigation facilities. This
scheme includes attending to five slum areas in each big
city and one in each small city.
