These forests grow in the area under
average rainfall is 50-100 cm. Their speciality is good
quality of timber. Sagaun (Teak), Sheesham, Neem,
Peepal etc trees generally grow in these forests.
These forests are mainly found in Satna, Jabalpur,
Chhindwara, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Betul,
Hoshangabad, Malwa etc.
