Mughal Empire begin to decline after
the death of Aurangzeb in 1707. After his death his
three sons involved in a war of succession. Peshwa
Bajirao defeated the Nizam of Hyderabad in the
Bhopal war of 1737 and created dominance of
Marathas over all the areas between Narmada-
Chambal region under the treaty of Duraie.
