"Pakistan should not test the patience of the people of Afghanistan or else be prepared to face the consequences," warned Zabiullah Mujahid, the deputy minister of media and culture.
Pakistan's foreign office has neither verified the strikes or stated whether they were carried out by Pakistani aircraft.
"Terrorists use Afghan land to carry out actions within Pakistan with impunity," the Foreign Minister warned.
Seven Pakistani soldiers were killed in North Waziristan just days before the airstrikes. The airstrikes are alleged to have occurred in the eastern Afghan province where the location is located.
