ELON MUSK OFFERS TO BUY TWITTER.

Elon Musk has offered to buy 100% of Twitter in an updated filing with the Securities and Exchange Commision on Thursday.

For the San Francisco-based corporation, the billionaire is proposing $54.20 per share in cash, or $41.39 billion.

"I am offering to acquire 100% of Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash," Musk wrote.

At 2:00 p.m., Twitter will have a town hall meeting with its employees.
