Election commision of India
nominates any senior bureacrate of state cadre as
a chief Electoral Officer, who looks after the
elections of Loksabha, Rajysabha, President and
Vice President on behalf of the Election commision
of India in the state. Whereas the Election
Commissioner of the state is appointed by Governor.
