Ken river also known as Karnavati
river originated from Vindhyachal (Aharia, Jabalpur).
It flows through forests of Ken and confluenced
in yamuna river at Chila Gaon (U.P.). Its total length
is 427 km. out of which 295 km. is in M.P. Before
entering in UP, it cuts the hills and forms 60 km long
and 150-160 m deep rift. Snah waterfall and Ken
Alligators Sanctuary are famous tourist places.
