Gondwana Rocks were first studied in the
south-eastern part of M.P. i.e. Mandla-Dindori. These
rocks are an important rock groups of M.P. These rocks
were formed during the middle Carboniferous period.
Three major parts of Gondwana Rock Groups are-
I. Lower Gondwana (Talcher)
2. Middle Gondwana ( Mahadev-Pachmarhi )
3. Upper Gondwana
