Karma dance is performed to appease
Karma Devta. It starts on Vijyadashmi and continues till
the onset of Rainfall. Karma is a group dance of both
men and women in which rythm, beat have major
importance. On the basis of different rythm and beat this
dance can be categorised as : Arma Khori, Karma Khay,
Karma Jhunri, Karma Lahki. It is a major dance of Gonds
and Baigas of Mandla. Its major instrument is Mandar.
