Tropical Dry Deciduous forests are
also called as Thorny forests. These forests grow in
the areas under very less rainfall (25-75 cm). These
mainly provide Minor produce in addition to timber.
They have trees like- Babool, Kankar, Harrah,
Palash, Tendu, Dhorra, Sheesham, Holdu, Teak,
Sagaun, Siri sh, Acacia, Aibezzia, Anogysous, Arabica
etc, These forests are mainly found in Sheopur,
Shivpuri, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Datia, Tikamgarh,
Gwalior and Nimar dists. of M.P..
