The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is the
apex national sports body of India. It was established in
1984 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of Govt.
of India. The Sports Authority of India has regional
centres located in Bhopal, the capital of M.P. established
in the Year 2000. Bhopal Regional Centre of Sports
Authority of India was renamed as “Bhai Udhav Das
Mehta Sai Central Regional Centre” on 17th April,
The office of Sai Central Centre has shifted to Shyamala
Hills Sports Complex, Bhopal.
