The quaternary series rocks is found as a
Tertiary rock groups in the Chambal valley region of the
northern part of M.P. These rocks are also found in the
Tapti and Narmada river valleys.These rocks are formed
in the Pleistocene and Holocene period by the deposists
of sediments brought by rivers.
