(a) Mandla Fort : It was built by King Narendra in 16th
century. Baghelin fort is situated in Mandla Fort.
(b) Ginnorgarh Fort : It was built by King Udayverman
in 13th century in Bhopal. Dost Muhammad Khan
captured this fort from the last Gond ruler Kamlapati.
This area is known as “Shuk Kheshtra” due to large
number of parrots found here.
(c) Narwar Fort : It was built by King Nal in Shivpuri.
This Fort is associated to Royal families of
Kachhwaha, Tomar and Jaipur.
(d) Mandsaur Fort : It was built by Alauddin Khilji in
1299 AD. It is situated on the banks of river Shivna.
Inside the fort there are many statues of dieties and
500 year old Tapeshwar temple.
