Sharad Joshi was born on 21 st May, 1931 in
Ujjain city of M.P. He remained in a government job for
some time, then he took up writing as his livelihood. In
addition to satire articles and satire novels columns, he
also wrote screenplays and dialogues for comic-satirical
serials. He had been a columnist in Naidunia newspaper
(Parikrama Column).
