    “Satyajit Ray” has been awarded several
    prestigious awards for his outstanding contribution in
    the field of film making by the Govt. of India. He received
    32 national awards by the Govt. of India including ‘Dada
    Saheb Phalke’ award in 1985 and the highest award Bharat
    Ratna’ in the Year 1992. He died on 23rd April, 1992.
