• This scheme has been started on 26th April, 2008.
The main objective of this scheme is to provide food
grains to BPL families at very low price.
Salient Features
• Under this scheme52 lakh families (Blue Ration Card
holders) are provided 20 kg food grains per month
through fair price shops.
• Every such Blue Ration Card holder is provided Wheat,
Rice and Salt at Rs. 1 per kg.
