Rajasaurus is a species of non-
vegetarian dinosaur. whose fossils were obtained by
Geological Survey of India (GSI) Archaeological
Scientist Shri Suresh Srivastava from Lamheta Hills
of Jabalpur under Narmada Valley region in the Year
1982-84.
Note : In the Year 1828, Sir William Henry Sleeman
obtained dinosaur fossils from the cantonment area
of Jabalpur. In addition, in 1982, Ashok Sahni also
obtained fossils of dinosaur eggs from Jabalpur.
Remark : In the Year 1988. Dr. Shankar Chattis
obtained dinosaur fossils and skeletons from Shimla
hill and the hill of Supaatal of Jabalpur.
On 13th Aug., 2003, fossils of a new species of
dinosaur were obtained from a place called Raholi
in the Mahisagar district of Gujarat under the
Narmada Valley region.
