Avdhesh Pratap Singh University is an
autonomous institution in Rewa. This university was
founded on 20th July, 1968 and got UGC recognition in
February, 1972. Its has jurisdiction over 65 colleges in
Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Shahdol, Umaria and Singrauli
districts besides 21 Sanskrit colleges and 85 Sanskrit
schools. This university also has 2 Ayurvedic colleges.
