After the recommendation of the State Reorganisation Commission, what was the no. of assembly seats in the newly formed state of M.P.?

    From 1st November, 2000, the number
    of seats came down to 230. The number of members
    in this assembly was 288 members, out of which 43
    seats were reserved for Scheduled Castes and 54
    seats for Scheduled Tribes. In the Year 1976, the
    number of Vidhan Sabha members was further
    increased to 320.
