destitute families for marrying their daughters/widow/

• Eligibility : This assistance is given only in mass
marriages with the condition that the girl must have
attained the age of 18 years.
• From 2013, amount increased to 25,000/- (out of which
17 thousand are for domestic appliances, 5 thousand
for marriage rituals and 3 thousand for marriage
function).
• The initial amount was increased to 10,000/- in 2009,
which further increased to Rs. 15,000 in 2012 and
Rs.17,OOO in 2013 and Rs. 43,000 in 2016.
Kamalnath Govt. decided to offer 48,000/- to bride out
