formed in British Madhya Pradesh in 1861.
Lieutenant Colonel H. D. Taylor was the first
Inspector General of the Central Provinces Police.
The Police Training School was opened in Nagpur
in 1884 to strenghtgen organization and training of
the Central Provinces Police.
