Bagheli language is a modified version of
Ardh-Magdhi which is prevalent in Rewa, Satna, Sidhi
and Singrauli districts of M.P. It’s mixed form is spoken
Tribal region of Mandla. Some of the Sub-dialects Of
Bagheli are:
1. Tirhari in Banda, Hamirpur and Fatehpur districts
(U.P.), and
2. Gahora in central areas of Banda districts (U.P.).
Gondi, which is spoken in Rewa and Mandla region is
also considered as a Bagheli variant.
