Bharathari Caves were built by Parmar rulers
in Ujjain in the memory of Raja Bharathari. Its major
feature is the beautiful colourful paintings. It’s a very
long cave situated on the banks of River Kshipra. It has
been a place for meditation for Nath Community Saints.
These caves are designed as per Buddhist Architecture
style. The statue of Gopichand is built as per Nagar style.
