Lakshmibai National University of Physical
Education started in 1957 as other form of Lakshmibai
College of Physical Education (LCPE). It is affiliated to
Vikram University, Ujjain. In 1964, this college was shifted
to Jiwaji University.
The name of this college was changed to Lakshmibai
National Institute of Physical education in 1995. In 2000,
the name Lakshmibai National University of Physical
Education was accepted.
There are currently seven departments in Lakshmibai
National University of Physical Education .
